Update: 2009 First Time Homebuyer Tax Credit

by Aaron Catt on February 24, 2009

Last week I wrote about the First Time Home Buyers Tax CreditVERSION 1 and discussed some of the details about it.  This week, I’d like to update you with some more information as it pertains to some Frequently Asked Questions.

Here are some good links directly to the bill and an outline that covers some of the details.

There is one certain misconception that I would like to clear up:  This tax credit is NOT JUST FOR FIRST TIME HOMEBUYERS!!!  This is important.  If you have owned a home for the last 3 years, you are eligible for the tax credit.

If you have any questions about the  bill and how to get your $8000, contact me!
